The parade warm-up starts at 10.45am, with roads being closed from 9.30am. The parade itself will start at 11.00am, arriving at Winton Recreation Ground at 12.00 noon, and will feature a variety of floats, fancy costumes, dancing, music, entertainment and a showcase of true community spirit in the heart of Winton.

Help us find a Carnival King or Queen!
We are looking for nominations from the local community for someone who has achieved something outstanding. This can be academic, personal or physical.
The ideal candidate would be someone who the community can be proud of.
The candidate should be someone, aged at least 10 years old, who would be willing to partake in the Carnival Parade and any publicity related to it (parental consent required if under 18). The Carnival King or Queen will ride in a vehicle along the route and will be presented on stage at the Recreation Ground.
The nomination form can be downloaded using the button on the right; please make as many nominations as you wish (one per form, please). The closing date is 25 May 2018.
